    to begin with DS3 is quite an enjoyable game, I will describe every point from gameplay graphics storyline etc.
    well, here it goes.
    I will give an advice make sure when you read a review is a verified purchase, since some trolls posts because they heard some bozo saying that, no matter what I say, the last impression on this game will count once you buy it don't just explain a view by playing a demo.
    many people criticize the game because is not scary.....I've played all DS games and I will explain this baloney, since I assume that you played the previous titles You know what you faced before, the regenerator necromorphs , etc. you get the same on DS 3 and you get a variety of human enemies the fact that the game IS SCARY AS HELL!!! the problem is that if you have noticed most all players who played the previous DS games say that!! why ?? easy ,it will not scare you because you are prepared for what's coming !!!!
    for example it is very probable that you have played resident evil series ...right ? you remember on RE from psone when the dogs jump thru the window and scares the hell out of you? did you guys found resident evil 4/5 scary...? they are great games indeed ...scary to me not at all I knew what was coming ..simple.
    it is because you are familiar with the game is just what it is, think about it.
    the weapon crafting system is great another thing is people find confusing..is not bad is different , I quite find it excellent because you get to craft a weapon of your choice,I have done a blade gun which fires spining blades covered on fire and the alternate damage for it electroshocks the enemy!!! crazy but you can do it!!! if you like the classical feel it can be unlocked after completion of the game don't worry.
    the story is a chain between the three games if you play this one "DS3" you will be lost and you will not get the "tru feel" of the game even though the game has a backstory that will fill you in on what happened previously.
    in dead space there's funny love triangle which I funny quite ok , "spoiler" until the other guy gets slayed by isaac lmao!
    it is a great experience get this game you won't be dissapointed this one of the few series that has kept loyal to storywise game play etc. if you don't trust me what happened to RE series and Silent hill?

    the variety in the game play is awesome when on a mounted gun, rappeling , climbling you name it , when you pilot the spacecraft ,when you look for parts to fix the space shuttle another great addition is the side missions!!! if you like a challenge you will find a big challenge but it will reward you with great prizes, like circuit schematics to build more powerful weapons, they're optional but they're worth to try.
    also the co-op is very fun as well wheter you decide not opt for it is very nice as the lone wolf, but with a friend you could do quite more damage, haven't tried but once it was awesome!!

    If you're a fan of the previous Dead Space games, you'll definitely notice the major thematic changes surrounding the pace of the game. It's far less of what we've come to know and love of 'survival horror' and more of an 'action survival horror' game. Even on the Impossible difficulty, I never had any challenge with ammo or health packs...and there seemed a greater monster density than in previous games. This makes it far more action oriented, but the surprise and horror are diminished.

    Countering that slight negative though is that the weapon system is *extremely* fun and customizable. You can only carry 2 weapons at any given time, but as the game progresses you can customize them into just about any combination of weapons you can imagine. For example, you can take a frame and build a 'survey charge' on it and with the default nozzle it's a grenade launcher. Put a precision tip on it, and it's a rocket launcher. Put a cone tip on it and it makes trigger mines. Etc. Then you can apply scopes and attachments which further enhance the weapon with advanced clip options, elemental damage, etc. In the end, I had an acid/electrical bouncing bolo weapon that alt fired an under mounted acid/force cannon. :) To folks who love customizing their loadouts, it's a new pipe dream.

    All in all, the game runs long and has some forgettable characters. I honestly didn't *care* that much about the plight of the main character. Add to the mix a story which is only loosely based on the previous games, it seemed, you essentially lose the 'depth' that would make this a GotY candidtate. They also re-use several map types for the 'optional' missions, so in combination with the Dead Space typical 'Go to X and do 1... Ok, now go back to X and do 2...' quest types, this tends to make the map re-uses even more obvious.

    However, I did enjoy some of the sequences such as the space sequence where you have 4 different ships full of little nooks and crannies to explore.

    All in all, I highly recommend the game if you don't go into it with overly high expectations. It's one of the better co-op games out there, as well...as you and a friend can easily hook up on Xbox LIVE and play through the entire game together. The co-op partner even gets some specalized character centric missions which are a real trip...since the main character doesn't see the co-op partners hallucinations. :) This made for a very fun walk through for me as I'm describing the trippy stuff in the alternative missions to my partner through the headset.

    So, give Dark Space 3 a try. You may very well enjoy it like I did.

    北米版ですがリージョンフリーなので日本本体で問題なく動作します。
    最高難易度ハードコア以外はクリア済み。

    トレイラーを観て、アイザックさんが明るい雪山で巨大なクリーチャーと戦ったり、
    はりついたりしゃがんだりで、「これじゃないな・・・」と思った人が多いのではないでしょうか。
    しかし実際プレイしてみると今までの大事な箇所は押さえてあり、ちゃんとしたデッドスペースで安心しました。

    全体的に２に近くＳＦアクションな雰囲気があり、戦闘も面白みが増しています。
    新しいタイプの敵や、生きた人間との戦闘もあり１、２をやった自分でも新鮮でした。
    敵も前作までのように簡単にのけぞらず、しぶとい。腕や足も千切れ、なんと胴体まで千切れるようになりました（グロい）

    本作からの大きな変更点は、武器の作成システムで
    拾ったパーツを組み合わせ、好きなように武器を作成できるようになっています。
    全編英語ということもあり、その複雑なシステムは完全に把握するまで結構時間がかかりますが、
    武器の選択の幅が格段と広くなり、より深みが増した印象。
    使い道の無いネタ武器から、最強の武器まで作れます。
    ありそうで無かったショットガンが追加されたのも嬉しい。
    他の変更点は、セーブポイントがなくなっていますが
    いつでもセーブして終了する事が可能なのでマイナスには感じませんでした。

    マイナスに感じた点は、恐怖演出があまり多くない所でしょうか。
    個人的には２の学校、列車のシーンのように凝りに凝った演出がもっとあって欲しかった。

    ネクロモーフを撃ち殺す楽しさとcoopプレイの楽しさが重視されている感があり、ホラーゲームを期待している方は、前作までのようなじわじわと追い詰められるような恐怖がなくなりちょっと残念に感じると思いますが、前作よりも更にＴＰＳとしての出来がよくなっており、面白いです。データ引き継ぎでのリプレイ性も高め。２にハマった方は躊躇せず是非プレイすることをお勧めします。

    ちなみに、シリーズ恒例の変な日本語も健在。序盤の街におもいっきりカタカナで「ラブホテル」と書いてあったのには笑いました(笑)
