UPDATE: A PC version of Skyling: Garden Defense is available on Steam as of February 14th, 2017 (Valentine’s Day) at the price of $4.99 (US). There will be an additional 15% discount for a limited time to celebrate the launch on Steam.

Skyling: Garden Defense for Xbox One launched in the USA on April 19th, 2016 for the low price of just $5. Since then, availability has expanded to include the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates at similar prices.

Skyling: Garden Defense is rated E in the USA and PEGI 3 in other regions.

About Us

Mighty Studios LLC is a small, independent game studio located near Seattle, Washington.

We are dedicated to crafting games featuring classic arcade gameplay suitable for all ages.

Mighty Studios was formed in October of 2013 and released its first game ‘Skyling: Garden Defense’ on April 15th, 2014. Since then, the game has been consistently updated and brought to new platforms. The most recent version can be found on the Xbox One.

Review Copies

We happily provide free download codes for our games to the Press and Streaming Community for review and showcase. We’d love to see our game shared with your audience! However, we have noticed our press codes appearing on Ebay so we revised our policy for sending out codes.

When contacting us for download codes, please use the same email address visible on your media site so we can verify your identity. Providing a link so we can verify that info would be a big help. Be sure to also Include links to indie game reviews or streams you have done in the past. We will typically not provide codes to press or stream outlets who do not showcase indie games regularly.

Lastly, codes will be initially limited to one per request. If you need more, we will work with you on that individually.

Skyling: Garden Defense

Help young Bloom rescue the Skyling Gardens from the terrible Blight Monsters!

Touch every square in the garden maze and watch it grow. But be careful, the gardens have been overrun with monsters who want to destroy everything. Use your wits to avoid or destroy them as you sprout the garden back to life.

Use the garden to your advantage. Trigger switches and elevators to dodge your enemies. Move sleepy garden cats around the maze to block passages and hold down switches for you. They don’t mind. They’ll sleep anywhere!

Skyling: Garden Defense is Mighty Studios first release. It was designed as an homage to classic arcade titles such as Pac-Man, Q*Bert and Crystal Castles.

Like those classic games, Skyling: Garden Defense is a maze game in which players must visit each square at least once in order to complete the level. A host of monsters also roam the maze, and will kill the player if they are close enough to attack. The levels are presented as 2D isometric environments, with a mix of multi-level maze areas and hillsides for the player to navigate. Elevators and gates are also present to help the player avoid capture. There are sleeping cats present on some maps, which can be picked up and moved to help block a monsters path or trigger a floor switch.

Skyling is priced below $5 on all platforms. It’s part of our “Less Than a Latte” approach to pricing our indie games. Most coffee shops sell fancy drinks that cost more than our games. :)

An older, mobile version of Skyling: Garden Defense is still available in some app stores. This version is slightly out of date and only contains 20 levels. The PC and Xbox One versions receive more frequent updates.
